HOT

Use heat if pain is chronic or muscular (e.g. back pain, neck pain, etc.)

Heat gel pack in hot (not boiling) water for 10-15 minutes. Remove from water, wrap in a clean cloth and apply to injury. If discomfort is experienced, immediately remove pack from injury.

COLD

Use cold if pain is recent or inflamed/swollen (e.g. bruises, sprains, cuts, etc.)

Store gel pack in fridge or freezer until desired temp. Remove from freezer, wrap in a clean cloth and apply to injury. If discomfort is experienced, immediately remove pack from injury.
